These terms apply to the use of ghostsiege.com and the browser game GhostSiege. By playing, you agree to these rules. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

1. Operator

GhostSiege is operated as a private, non-commercial hobby project by Hasanović Jusufa, Juke 57, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Full details are in the Legal Notice.

2. The service

GhostSiege is currently offered as a free browser game without an account requirement. Features, balancing, availability and supported browsers may change as the game develops. Local game progress can be lost if browser storage is cleared, blocked or damaged.

3. Player names and leaderboard

Your chosen player name and score may be displayed publicly. Do not use a real name or include personal information. Names that are unlawful, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, impersonating, infringing or otherwise disruptive may be rejected, masked or removed.

4. Fair play

You must not manipulate scores, automate gameplay or submissions, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass technical protections, interfere with the service, overload endpoints, distribute malicious code or attempt unauthorised access. Suspicious scores, runs or players may be flagged, invalidated, removed or blocked to protect the game and other players.

5. Advertising and optional rewards

GhostSiege displays advertising that is clearly marked as such. Rewarded advertisements are voluntary: after dying you may choose to watch one in order to continue the run where you fell, and the reward is named before you decide. Declining costs nothing and ends the run in the usual way. The reward can be claimed a limited number of times per run; the current limit is shown in the offer. The one-time VIP upgrade removes all advertising and still grants the revive.

A rewarded advertisement may consist of a video or of the advertiser’s page shown in a frame. Such content is loaded from a third-party server only after you agree, and the reward is granted only if the advertisement was actually displayed for the stated time. GhostSiege is not responsible for the content of an advertiser’s website, for their offers or for their terms; following an advertisement is your own decision. Advertising claims that are unlawful, misleading or unsuitable for the audience will be removed on becoming known. Should an external advertising network be introduced later, its provider-specific terms will be disclosed before activation, and the core game will remain usable when optional advertising consent is refused.

6. Intellectual property

GhostSiege and its original code, artwork, interface and content are protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to play the game for personal use. This does not grant a right to copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or commercially exploit protected materials except where applicable law expressly permits it.

7. Availability and liability

We aim to keep GhostSiege available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for minor negligence except where essential contractual duties, life, health, bodily injury or mandatory consumer rights are affected. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the game and these terms for legal, security, technical or gameplay reasons. Material changes will be identified by a new update date. You may stop using GhostSiege at any time. Access may be restricted where necessary to address abuse, security risks or material breaches of these terms.

9. Governing law

The law of Bosnia and Herzegovina applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence provides otherwise. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the mandatory consumer rights of your home country and any mandatory statutory place of jurisdiction remain unaffected. Data protection is governed by the Privacy Policy, which applies the GDPR.
